Elizabeth Anne Ford (née Bloomer; formerly Warren; (April 8, 1918 – July 8, 2011) was the first lady of the United States from 1974 to 1977, as the wife of President Gerald Ford. As first lady, she was active in social policy and set a precedent as a politically active presidential spouse. Ford also served as the second lady of the United States from 1973 to 1974 when her husband was vice president.

Apparently she changed the spelling of her name to 'Bettie' sometime around 2000 and turned into a punk/punk rock hybrid band at the same time.  Their debut album League of Fools was released in March 2004 on Punk'n'Drunk Recordings. The follow-up Singapore Sling was released on April 25, 2008 on PIAS / CraftyRecordings and is distributed through Rough Trade.

Their third work Let's go! was released on November 19, 2010 on the band's own Punkrocknrollrockrock Records label and is distributed via Alive.
