Didn't realize he could play guitar too, I bet!

Heavens Edge were an American glam metal band from Philadelphia that was produced by the industrious Neil Kernon, who produced 2 albums and recorded a song for the Mötley Crüe Kickstart My Heart Tribute Album  ("Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)".  The best comparison of their sound is to say they were a poor man's Dokken - some great guitar parts by Steven Perry (obviously not the same guy from Journey), some good rockers, and some pop commercial crap.

Interesting sidenote:

One night while performing at the Empire Rock Club in Philadelphia, the bassist George "G.G." Guidotti was shot in the abdomen by a disgruntled bar patron, angry about being turned away by the club bouncer.  He survived, but detective Munch never caught the shooter.
