You gotta love these NWOBHM compilation albums that have come out lately - saves the time and effort of collecting all the individual demos, singles, cassettes, etc. that these bands produced in their brief lifetimes.
In this particular case we have Bashful Alley - stupid name, in my opinion, but some killer stuff here. Running Blind should have been a major hit, if only it had backing & promotion.
UPDATE
It appears Bashful Alley is an actual and very old (and narrow) street in Lancaster. Its previous name, and this is absolutely 100% true, was Swap Cu*t Alley. It was renowned as the place to find a prostitute - useful information for a sailor newly disembarked from a long voyage.
