Fireclown was a British heavy metal band from Manchester, England, who got their name either (1) from a character in the Michael Moorcock novel ‘Winds Of Limbo’, or (2) from the Tygers Of Pan Tang song of the same name.  As was the case with many of the NWOBHM bands, this EP was their only official output, released on their own self-titled Fireclown Records label.  Invasion is a great tune, the other two, not so much.  They list Eric Clapton, ZZ Top and Led Zeppelin and similar ‘electric blues’ artists as major influences - too bad those influences didn't show through more on this recording.
