Race Against Time was the third, and unfortunately the weakest member of the 'East Midlands Bands Cooperative', who, along with Paralex and Radium, shared equipment and organized concerts together. The band split up following a session on Trevor Dann's BBC Radio Nottingham Rock Show. The band Hell was formed from the aftermath with Vocalist/Guitarist Dave Halliday teaming with members of the aforementioned 'East Midlands Bands Cooperative', guitarist Kev Bower and bassist Tony Speakman from Paralex and drummer Tim Bowler from Overdrive.

Robscure Fact: Dave Halliday taught Andy Sneap of Sabbat and Judas Priest to play guitar.
