Holy Grail (originally called Sorcerer) was formed in 2008 by singer James Paul Luna (Love his Vocals BTW), lead guitarist James J. LaRue and drummer Tyler Meahl, all of whom were members of White Wizzard when they recorded their extra-ordinally awesome EP High Speed GTO. After releasing the EP, White Wizzard's bassist Jon Leon and the rest of the band disagreed on what musical direction the band should take, resulting in the 3 aforementioned members forming Holy Grail. Luna has described Holy Grail as "a modern band with a new twist of old-school metal with death metal riffs, modern breakdowns, and power-metal singing".
