Urchin was an English band, best known for featuring guitarist Adrian Smith, and later Dave Murray, the longtime guitar duo of Iron Maiden.  Their 1977 single Black Leather Fantasy stated the following: "Urchin could prove to be the forerunners of a new revival of heavy British rock music.”  They were almost right, Urchin didn't amount to anything, but Smith & Murray would take the metal world by storm several years later with the aforementioned Iron Maiden.
