Soldier was yet another NWOBHM band who had to resort to releasing their own material - in this case a cassette of live material entitled Live Forces. Yes, the band did release a 7" inch single on Heavy Metal Records (Sheralee/Force) that was OUTSTANDING, but that was the sole 'officially produced' thing the band created (until they reformed). What we have on Live Forces is a moment in time captured perfectly, absolute prime NWOBHM magic.
