Beckett were an English progressive rock band from 1970. who released one self-titled album in April 1974.
In 2017, Beckett songwriter Brian Ingham sued Iron Maiden for copyright infringement over two popular songs, "Hallowed Be Thy Name" and "The Nomad", who supposedly stole music and lyrics from the song "Life's Shadow".  Ron Smallwood, Maiden's manager, was apparently the agent for Beckett.  Steve Harris and Dave Murray (of Iron Maiden, duh!) settled the dispute with Robert Barton, who claimed in the settlement to be the sole author of the song.  However, Ingham became aware of this settlement in 2011 and demanded his piece of the pie.  As a result, Maiden stopped performing Hallowed Be Thy Name on their 2017 tour while the dispute was being settled.  In March 2018 the 2 sides reached a super secret agreement and the issue was put to rest.  Coincidentally, or not, Iron Maiden covered the song Rainbow's Gold as the B-Side to 2 Minutes To Midnight.
