Wow!  Who the 'L' are these guys?  Turns out the were a rock trio from Canada (Rush, Triumph and...Fable?) who started out playing under the moniker Hellhound.  The band eventually changed their name when they realized that their type of music, 'telling stories, taking you on journeys just like fables do' fit the name Fable perfectly.  As to that style of music, they described it perfectly as 'Loud, heavy and aggressive but filled with positive energy and melody, influenced by Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Grand Funk Railroad, Robin Trower, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Sir Lord Baltimore.'

Turns out the team of Politano and Anderson recorded an album called Forbidden Fruit under the name of Task Force in the 80's.  I need to hear that one!
