Persian Risk was formed by guitarist Phil Campbell, who would later become a fixture in Motorhead for 31 years. Campbell originally recruited John Deverill as the band's lead singer, but he was stolen away by the Tygers of Pan Tang before recording any music with the band. Deverill was then replaced by Carl Sentance, who would go on to provide 'guest vocalist' duty on the Tredegar album, as well as becoming the lead singer for Nazareth in 2015. Nobody knows what happened to their original drummer Razz, although our research reveals 2 possible scenarios:
