Xalt was a Christian Metal band from Holt, Michigan.  Their first 2 albums are solid 80's style Heavy Metal through and through, but the latter 2 albums are a different story altogether.  For some reason they strayed from their metal roots, and went softer and poppier, with disastrous results  (in my humble opinion).  Perhaps the addition of Tony Miceli on The History album was to blame?
