Not the country band Diamond RIO, this is the 70's rock band Diamond REO.  Well their first album was less 'rock' and more 'Pop" (with the exception of  Rock and Roll Till I Die), unfortunately.  Their second album, however, saw the band take on a harder, faster, better rock sound, most likely due to the fact that guitarist Warren 'King Fish' King was elevated from 'guest guitarist' to feature player.  Believe me, the difference really shows!

 

Interesting fact, Diamond Reo appeared on American bandstand!   Here's the details:
