Holy Crap! What a classic NWOBHM album (Fit For Fight)! But wait, these guys are not British, their Danish! Originally calling themselves Blood Eagle, Copenhagen's Witch Cross has to be the greatest NWODHM (New Wave Of Danish Heavy Metal) Band ever! Every track on this album sizzles - Nightflight To Tokyo has a great catchy vibe to it, Axe Dance is a smoking instrumental featuring guitarists Cole Hamilton (his real name being Ole Hamilton Poulsen) and Mike Wlad (birth name Michael Koch), Rocking The Night Away...well it Rocks The Night Away! I could go on with every track on this album, but you get the point. In short, Fit For Fight is a Danish masterpiece! NWODHM - New Wave Of Danish Heavy Metal!

Like many other NWOBHM bands, Witch Cross reunited and released Axe To Grind in 2013 with the new lineup of Mike Wlad,, bassplayer Jan "Little John" Fields along with British singer Kevin Moore from Graham Oliver's Saxon and guitarist Paul Martin.
