ROBSCURITIES BELIEVE IT OR NOT

The Eagles hit Life In The Fast Lane was originally titled Life In The Phasslayne before Neat records filed an injunction in 1985.

The following is 'borrowed' from their Facebook page:

Phasslayne are a NWOBHM rock band formed in 1983.
The original line up was:
Michael Maughan Guitar/vocals
Paul Gago Bass
Ian Mattimore Drums
Kev Wilkinson Vocals
After 2 band members left in early '85 Paul and Mick recruited drummer Stiddi to complete the lineup with Maughan also taking on lead vocal duties for the recording of their Album "Cut it up ".
Frustrated with the lack of support from Neat Records the band went their separate ways shortly after the release of the album.
However there has been interest in the band over the years from both at home and worldwide so in 2014 they were persuaded to reform for the upcoming Brofest in 2015.
The current line up consists of founding members Micky Maughan, original drummer Ian Mattimore and long time collaborator Brian Morton on bass who also penned the song from the album "Feels on wheels" along with Lou Taylor.
Phasslayne have now successfully reformed and performed their first gig in 31yrs and are currently active again,,,watch this space,,,,
