I have to admit I hadn't listened to Saracen before, but I read a lot of things about them and was fairly excited to give them a good listen.  Unfortunately, I was slightly disappointed by them.  Too much synth for me, and frankly, they're pretty wimpy as far as NWOBHM goes.  I would classify them as NWOBHM lite.  It seems to me that the guitarist is totally wasted in this band, except for the one tune I totally loved - Ready To Fly.  I absolutely LOVE this tune...why couldn't they make more tunes like that.  Pity.
