Laurence Archer would later become guitarist for UFO, recording one album, High Stakes & Dangerous Men, in 1992.  He was let go when the band reunited with Michael Schenker.

Released in 1983, Hurricane Town was the debut and only studio album from the NWOBHM band Stampede, who began their career originally under the name Lautrec.  Under that name the band released an EP called Days Of Wine And Roses, which is included on the CD reissue.  In 1983, Stampede released their only studio album, entitled Hurricane Town, an album of melodic, polished rock, reminiscent of such bands as Heavy Pettin’, Tobruk, Lionheart and Praying Mantis.  Prior to Hurricane town being released in 1983, An 'Official Bootleg' (there's an oxymoron if I've ever heard one) recording was released in 1982 featuring tracks from the Reading and Mildenhall Rock Festivals.  It has a slightly harder and rawer sound to it than the studio stuff, but unfortunately the sound quality is pretty bad.
