Midnight was a group of teenagers - yes teenagers, from the Chicago suburbs who formed a band in 1974 while taking music lessons together, played nightclubs and colleges (while still teenagers), and self produced their one and only album in 1978, a Zeppelin, Uriah Heep, Doors? mash-up called Into The Night. It's a shame they broke up after this recording, because there was real potential here. More importantly, they may have been able to earn enough money to buy a decent organ! Seriously, though, what is with that cheesy organ? Was it the very same instrument that Question Mark & the Mysterians used to create the song 96 Tears? Fortunately, the cheesy organ isn't used too extensively, which enables the rest of the album to rock, and rock hard! Frank Anastos' guitar riffs and fiery licks more than make up for any distraction caused by the carnivalistic keyboard sound.
