Don Airey has played keyboards for practically every band it seems - Rainbow, Ozzy, Judas Priest, UFO, Sabbath and MANY others!
Strife were a Liverpool based Rock trio with a big reputation for being one of the best "live" bands of the 70's era. Strife was allegedly so good live 'that other bands feared being blown off the stage by them. It is rumored that Procol Harum paid them off (not to play), Judas Priest pulled out, The Average White Band turned plain nasty (?) and Slade's manager, Chas. Chandler, gave instructions that his band should never have to appear with Strife again'.
