Interesting Progressive/Heavy Metal album from, of all places, Portugal.  On their Facebook page, the group lists Deep Purple, Rainbow, Sabbath, Voivod, Priest, Mastodon, Queens Of The Stone Age, and others as artists they like.  They don't really sound like any of these bands, however.  Their sound is difficult for me to pin down; the music can best be described as enjoyable Progressive Metal, but the vocals make for a hard listen at times.  Not that Carmen Susana Simões voice is unlistenable - it's just that the ethereal style of how they recorded the vocals is better suited for backing track vocals rather than lead vocals.  The album screams for a single, powerful vocal performance.  A+ for album art!
