Philadelphia was formed as a christian band in 1982 after the dissolution of one of Robscurities' favorite 70's bands, Survivor.  They produced their first album Tell The Truth in 1984, and followed it up with Search And Destroy in 1985.  Some pretty good tunes on these albums, although the bonus material on Search & Destroy would have been better left 'undiscovered'.  The band reunited and released a 3rd album, Warlord, in 2016.
