THIS IMAGE HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS PAGE
Negative Space were an East Coast band that had a fuzzy garage band sound (on those occasions when they decided to play hard) that was formed by Rob Russen (guitar/vocals), and joined by Jimmy Moy (guitar/vocals), Bob Rittner (bass/backing vocals), Lou Nunziatta (drums). They released their one and only album "Hard, Heavy, Mean & Evil" in 1970. This particular reissue by Vintage (subsidiary of Rockadrome) has the 8 tracks from the original LP of 1970, plus another 10 tracks - singles, demos and songs by "Snow" (1971 incarnation of Negative Space).

Apparently, the band recorded a version of Summertime Blues, but it was left off this compilation, much to the bands' displeasure. It would have been better than any of the Snow tracks, by the way. Their version of The Doors' Light My Fire is definitely interesting.
