Promotional photo (date unknown) of EZY Meat as a 4 piece band.

Despite the strange name, EZY Meat was neither a wholesale butcher shop, nor a cheap male escort service.  Instead, EZ Meat was an awesome Irish NWOBHM band from Lurgan, Co. Armagh that formed in 1980.  Starting out as a 4 piece, they recorded  the ‘Makin’ Noise’ demo in 1980, while contributing 2 tracks to the ‘Belfast’ split album released by Shock Rock Records in 1981 .  By the time they recorded their debut LP, ‘Not For Wimps’ in 1984 (re-released on CD in 2003 with 6 bonus tracks), they had become a trio.  The album was produced by none other than Vivian Campbell of SWEET SAVAGE, DIO, DEF LEPPARD & Robscurities fame. They cut a second LP, ‘Rock Your Brains’ in 1986 (sans Vivian Campbell's involvement) and issued a live album, 'Rockin’ The Colosseum' in 2006.
