Jody St. is included and listed on numerous websites as a NWOBHM band, so I'll include them here as such, although they probably don't belong in this category at all.  Their sound was totally different from the bands inhabiting the NWOBHM scene, funky classic-rock I would call it.  They were so funky and different, in fact, that the members of Jody St. went on to play with a google-plex of different non-NWOBHM bands.
