Wild Turkey was a 70's British Folk-Rock band formed by former Jethro Tull bassist (1967 to 1970) Glenn Cornick, then known as Glenn Barnard.  Their debut album, Battle Hymns, was released in 1971 to good reviews and the band seemed to be on the rise, supporting such acts as Jethro Tull, Black Sabbath, Procol Harum, Yes, Ten Years After and ZZ Top.  A follow up album (Turkey) was released in 1972, as well as a reunion record (Stealer Of Years) in 1996, but the inevitable internal strife and line-up changes doomed the band to Robscurity.
