Many of the tracks covered by Roxxcalibur were called "rough diamonds". That's why the press called Roxxcalibur "gold diggers" and "guardians of the NWOBHM"
Not sure how to classify this band. They are a tribute band formed in 2007 that plays obscure NWOBHM tunes! Right up Robscurities alley, to say the least. (Mountain Of Power does the same for 70's Robscurities) Love the selection of tunes - several of which were made into Robscurities videos before I heard of Roxxcalibur, whose name comes from the Roxcalibur compilation album.
