In crime, John Doe is a term used for an unidentified male, and in rock it was shortened to Jodo.  That, in a nutshell, describes the band who created this bluesy, rockin’ album in ’71.    Basically unknown and unidentified, we now have made an identification!  Back in the day, guitarist Rod Alexander actually met Ritchie Blackmore, who showed up at one of the bands rehearsals!  He then turned the band on to producer Derek Lawrence, who with Martin Birch, recorded this album in 3 days.

Why this album remained obscure is a mystery to me - great soulful vocals which are shared by Bill Kimber and Earl Jordan and awesome lead guitar from Alexander make for a real heavy dose of soul, blues, hard rock and just simply kicks bootay!
