Ace Lane were formed in 1982, when Stef Prokopczuk and Mick Clarke left the NWOBHM band Gaskin.  They released their sole album See You In Heaven in 1983, but in typical fashion for nearly every band at the time, their label screwed them over by taking off with all the sales and publishing money and selling the music rights to Roadrunner Records and Mausoleum USA Records; as well as assorted companies in Europe, Australia, Argentina, Japan, and even China.

As for the music itself, it can best be described as NWOBHM lite.  Plain & simple, this album is poppy, radio friendly, AOR oriented dreck (with the possible exception of the song Emotion).  If that's your style, you'll love this album.  However, if you love hard, heavy, crunching guitars, look elsewhere!
