Cities was a side project of A.J. Pero, who is best known as being the drummer for Twisted Sister.  This is a very good, hard album, although it sounds nothing like Twisted Sister.  Pero played with Cities in their early days, left for Twisted Sister, and then returned to record "Annihilation Absolute", the band's only studio album.  Bad marketing was the most likely cause of the Robscurity of this release - Trying to piggy-back on Twisted Sister's 'glam' phase, cheesy cover art, and the confusing fact that Annihilation Absolute was released in both EP and LP formats within a year.
