Tysondog is one of the harder NWOBHM bands I've heard.  This is not your mellower, more melodic Quartz type of NWOBHM - this is pound your fist, hard rockin' stuff.  Their first album was produced by Cronos (Conrad Thomas Lant) of Venom after all!  Tysondog should have been huge, and I'm talking Motorhead/Iron Maiden huge, but instead they were just another victim of bad timing and unfortunate circumstances, including a serious car crash, an American tour deal that fell through because of work permit troubles, and being dropped by the Neat record label.
