Agnes Strange was a 70's boogie rock trio from Southampton, Hampshire, England who had a sound comparable to a mix of Status Quo/Budgie.  Their downfall was being signed to the Birds Nest label - a record company whose records were only sold at a string of pubs (also called Birds Nest) owned by the beer maker Watney's.  As a result, sales were terrible and the band faded into history.  The album Dust In The Sunlight is composed of outtakes and demos.
