Desperado was one of many 'Supergroups' that unfortunately, in my opinion, failed to live up to expectations. Formed by Dee Snider in 1988 after Twisted Sister broke up, the band was rounded out by ex-Ian Gillan and Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Bernie Tormé, ex-Iron Maiden drummer Clive Burr, and bassist Marc Russell. They recorded this album, Bloodied, but Unbowed, in 1988, but the record was mysteriously shelved at the last minute, and remained unissued until 1996. When it was released, the record company changed the name of the album to Ace, and, for some reason, removed 2 of the originally recorded tracks.
